A most Egg-cellent idea!
I was delighted to find a small Stable selling fresh eggs whilst out for a drive
on a nearby country road. The reason was I had actuall got lost,
belive it or not but had it not been for my terrible sense of direction I
would never have found this 'egg-cellent' place for fresh eggs. What I like
most about it is that it holds an honesty box/ or hole rather.
I have
now started to come here for my weekly eggs and they are so much more
affordable too. Support Small holdings by buying eggs directly from these places.
The eggs taste so much better when a little tlc as been given to the Chickens. You can taste the difference. The yolk has a wonderful colourful orange and has a deliciously soft buttery taste to it.
My daughter made a lovely egg on toast for the first time for lunch. It was the best lunch we have had in a long time!
